Përkatësisht, në muajin tetor Microsoft kishte 9.2 për qind të tregut të telefonave mobil në Evropë, siç kishte raportuar Kantar World Panel, kompania e cila kishte publikuar këto të dhëna.

Sipas raportit të Kantar, Microsoft tani ka 10.2 për qind të tregut të telefonave të mençur mobil në Evropë, ndërsa në Mbretërinë e Bashkuar, Microsoft mban 11.9 për qind të tregut.

Telefonat mobil të linjës Nokia Lumia e kanë ndihmuar kompaninë Microsoft ta përshpejtojë rritjen e sistemit operativ Windows Phone, pasi që telefonat e kompanisë finlandeze e cila është blerë nga Microsoft tani përbëjnë rreth 90 për qind të telefonave të gjithë telefonave të shitur me platformën Windows Phone.

Do të jetë interesante të shihet kur Microsoft edhe zyrtarisht ta marrë përsipër menaxhimin e kompanisë Nokia dhe linjës së telefonave Lumia, dhe nëse Microsoft do të arrijë që ta rrisë biznesin e saj të ri mobil deri në atë masë sa të jetë konkurrent i denjë me rivalët e mëdhenj si Apple dhe Google.
